Concerts Norway was established in 1968, and is today Norway’s greatest promoter of live music. The concerts are produced either by Concerts Norway, or externally, in cooperation with artists and participants on Norwegian and international music scenes.
Children and young people are a prioritized target group. Approximately 10 000 concerts are played in schools, concert halls, clubs, cultural houses and kindergartens, all across Norway as well as in large parts of the world.
Concerts Norway holds a particular responsibility for Norwegian music - and musicians’ traditions, and for promoting artistic innovation.
